On October 1st, 1980, the world was blessed with a little Angel ~ her name was Meredith Eileen Morton. For thirty-five years she brought joy and light to everyone she touched. Due to a short bout with metastatic melanoma, Meredith passed on Tuesday, October 6th, 2015, 5 days after her 35th birthday. She was among family and in the comfort of her home when she passed.

As a daughter, she made her parents so very proud in so many ways.

As a sister, she was a balance and a companion and a best friend.

As a friend, her unwavering support and happy nature was the glue that bonded her to so many.

As a co-worker, she was dependable and always shined as a speech pathologist.

As a fiancee and wife she was all of those and more -- a compass in her new life that always pointed to true happiness and goodness.

There are very few words that can describe the pain, sorrow and void that she has left in all of us with her inexplicable passing. We all take a little bit of solace in knowing that when she left us, she became an Angel in Heaven as she was here on Earth. She now watches over everyone she loved. She will continue to inspire us, guide us, give us strength when we need it most, comfort us on the bad days and high-five us on the good days. Her memory and energy live on in all of us who knew and loved her.

Meredith had a life-long love with Lake Travis. Her fondest memories as a child were spent on the family houseboat. As a young adult she spent countless Saturdays with her friends on the water. As a fiancee and wife, her happiest place in the world was on the boat with her husband. Because of this deep connection, rather than a funeral and burial, Meredith Eileen Kluck will be cremated and her ashes spread over Lake Travis.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday the 23rd of October at Triumphant Love Lutheran Church very close to where she grew up. (9508 Great Hills Trail, Austin, Texas 78759). Visitation will start at 2:00, and service will begin at 3:00. Everyone who loved her is welcome to attend.
